Magic is free to use — there is no subscription or recurring plan to cancel. This policy explains whether a bill payment or digital payment made through the assistant can be cancelled, and how to close your account.
Bill payments and digital payments are processed in real time. Once you confirm a payment and it has been successfully sent to the biller or merchant, it cannot be cancelled or stopped, because the money has already been transferred to the recipient. Please review the biller and amount carefully before confirming.
If a payment is still pending and has not yet been completed, it may not go through — you will not be charged for a payment that does not complete. If an amount was debited but the payment failed, it is refunded as described in our Refund & Return Policy.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app — go to the Me tab and tap Delete Account. This is irreversible and removes your profile, uploaded documents, chat history, and group memberships. Because the service is free, closing your account does not involve any cancellation fee or final billing.
If you are unable to cancel a payment or delete your account from the app, email us at [email protected] with your registered phone number (and the transaction reference, if it relates to a payment) and we will process the request within 48 hours.
